I know it's futile to write, because I'm not good at expressing what I want to say; and I'm aware that these things make people uncomfortable, if not derisive.
I wonder if other animals feel the way human do, too: are we the only species that can see the structures surrounding us? The boundaries, conventions, tacit assumptions - call it what you will. Are we the only ones with such crystal clear insight of how we have chosen to live, and how our choices trap us?
We judge people from other cultures and other times, saying 'how could they live like that?', but how will we be judged in the future?
I am only one human in the universe, and that makes me feel so, so small.
