There's this technique called a memory palace, which is when you memorize things by imagining them (for example) on top of the cupboard in your room.

So twelve things would be twelve items imagined in different spots of your room.

Something like "glibenclamide" would be easier to remember as, say "glib and clam hide"; you imagine two fat lips (or I imagine glib that way) plus a clam with, uh, hide. Which is freaky, and totally memorable.

Unsurprisingly the memory palace actually works, since it started from ancient rome and survived till memory contests today...

Right now I'm filling my room with anti-diabetic medicine pictures.
